IMPERIALISM AND REVOLUTIONARY STRUGGLE AGAINST IMPERIALISM IN THE ARAB-ISLAMIC WORLD AND IN THE METROPOLIS  (The War in the Gulf and "Peace" in the Middle East
The war in the gulf has posed communist and the proletariat a number of question which, mutatis mutandis, concern the complex relationship between imperialism and the countries dominated by imperialism. Our position is very clear. Beyond and underlyng its evident intr-imperialistic and inter-burgeoisie contrast the, the UN-USA aggression against Iraq was fundamentally aimed at hitting the Arab-Islamic proletariat and exploited masses who refuse to bow down before the increasingly exorbitant "vital needs" of Western pillage and super-exploitation. At the same time another target af the imperialisst war was the metropolitan working class, called upon to discipline itself to the full in support of the needs of its "own" capitalism, not only in the name of the crisis, but also in that of the war. We reject any form of equidistances between the two sides by resolutely condemnig imperialist aggression and unconditionally supporting the oppressed masses of Iraq, the Middle East, Islam (and all of the "periphery".

YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW (price £ 10000 italian lire)
The articles on the USSR collected here includ only some of the many which have been pubblishced in our organisation's journal "che fare". Nevertheless, we feel that they offer a sufficiently significant insight into our general approach towards the sum total of the "specific" questions relating to the course of "soviet" society and its economy.
The international communist left (or - if you prefer- the Marxist current in the true sense of the word- without any need for other adjectives) of wich we consider ourselves part was neither surprised nor lost because of the present upsettings.
In our view the present was already written in the past: in the social and political nature of Stalin's "socialist construction in a single country" subsequently and faithfully continued in its substance by all of is successors, up to and including Gorbachev - and Eltsin, and wich will inevitably be continued by whoever comes after them.

Diese Broschüre stellt unsere erste Veröffentlichung in deutscher Sprache dar. Als Internationale Kommunisten sind wir im besonderen an der politisch-sozialen Entwicklung Deutschlands interessiert, da wir der Überzeugung sind, daß die Entwicklung des Klassenkampfes in diesem Land von zentraler Bedeutung für den Ausgang des allgemeineren Kampfes zwischen Proletariat und Bourgeoisie auf internationaler Ebene ist. Die hier vorgestellten Beiträge stellen einen Versuch dar, sich im Rahmen einer internationalistischen Perspektive über diese Zentralität und über die Notwendigkeit einer Analyse und des Eingreifens als Kommunisten in die gegenwärtig stattfindende Auseinandersetzung im klaren zu werden, was im Hinblick auf die Umwälzungen, die die "Wiedervereinigung" verursacht hat und innerhalb und außerhalb der Grenzen Deutschlands noch verursachen wird, um so dringlicher wird.
